Is not today fortunately. I experience the mother of all hailstorm recently. Happened right after my last meeting and isn't it fortunate I choose to work from home that day? It felt like people are throwing rocks on our roof.
Rushed out and lo-behold, hailstorm as big as jelly beans raining down. We went out and have a bit of fun but now you think about it, one can easily get hurt if the hailstorms are big. There is a reason why they have punishments like Stone to Death.
It hailed for at least 15 minutes with high winds and you can see the hails start amassing like gigantic snowflakes. I snapped up pictures and shared it with my tropical relatives, they are suitably appalled.
Churro being the smarter being had wisely stayed indoors. Must be thinking, these humans have no brains.
Aunty was understandably worried and can be seen praying for it to stop for good reason. Severe hailstorm can damage property and there was a really bad one that damaged the house a few years back. Looking at the more and more unpredictable weather, she is even thinking of installing roller shutters to protect the windows and vow to recycle more.
As unpredictable as the hailstorm, the sky cleared as if there was no major tantrum 15 minutes ago. Once all the hail melted, no one is wiser that it rained jelly beans today....except me who was still posting pictures in Line.
